Twelve Simple Tips to Fill Your Events, Programs and Teleseminars
ByOne of the questions I’m often asked by my clients is how to fill their workshops, seminars and teleseminars with more people. I taught a class on this topic recently to my Marketing Mastery members. I have noticed that too many women struggle with empty seminar rooms and low attendance at their workshops. And that’s a shame, because they have a wonderful message they want to share with more people.
Leading training programs, seminars and retreats can be a very lucrative and rewarding income stream for your business. But, you need to know how to effectively market and sell your programs and events in order to have good results and build a sustainable business.
Many workshop and seminar leaders give up because they don’t know how to fill their events. They want to offer their talents and expertise to those who need it, but end up struggling to make ends meet and not filling their rooms.
There are many easy, low cost strategies to get attention and increase enrollment for your next event. Here are my twelve simple tips to attract more paying clients to your events and coaching programs:
- develop very compelling promotional material
- highlight the benefits, outcomes and results people can expect to receive for attending
- create anticipation about your event at your blog and at social networking sites
- publish articles online with links back to your sales page
- submit press releases to online sites
- leave a longer lead time for longer events
- enroll referral partners and affiliates to extend your reach
- use no-charge preview calls to launch and sell your events
- make your launch into a campaign
- offer rewards and pre-written copy to referral partners
- add bonuses, deadlines and payment plans to increase sales
- use direct mail, voice broadcasts, and text messages to generate more sign-ups
Do all of these things and watch your attendance rates and income soar!
